Specifications - Generator Hook-up Enclosure1. General1.1. Product: Electrical connection enclosure, part number RAL58-50-20-3R, manufactured by Zip Cable Tray Systems (Division of RangeRack Inc.) (1-866-818-0299, 514-428-1191, info@ziptray.ca), 100-C Hymus Boulevard, Pointe-Claire, Quebec, H9R 1E4, Canada. 1.2. The enclosure shall be made from aluminum, natural finish. 1.3. The enclosure shall be cCSAus/NEMA certified Type 3R and be suitable for use in Canada and the USA. 1.4. The enclosure shall be certified by CSA to the following classes: 2. Construction 2.1. The size of the enclosure shall be 23" (584mm) high x 20" (508mm) wide x 9.3" (236mm) deep. 2.2. The enclosure shall have; 2.2.1. 4 exterior tabs for surface mounting 2.2.2. A hinged door 2.2.3. Two (2) x Ό turn latches with a slot for opening 2.2.4. A shelf inside for mounting the cam-lok connectors 2.2.5. A bottom trapdoor for cable entry 2.3. It (is or is not) necessary to add the padlock option (part no. RAL-PDLK-1) to (one of or both of) the latches. 3. Cam-Lok Connectors 3.1. The enclosure shall have (4 cam-loks for single phase applications or 5 cam-loks for 3 phase applications). 3.2. The cam-loks shall be suitable for a maximum of 600V AC/DC, 400 Amps continuous. 3.3. For single phase applications the cam-lok configuration shall be (from left to right); black, red, white, green. 3.4. For 3 phase applications the cam-lok configuration shall be (from left to right); black, red, blue, white, green. 3.5. The black cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (male or female). 3.6. The red cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (male or female). 3.7. The blue cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (male or female). 3.8. The white cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (male or female). 3.9. The green cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (male or female). 3.10. The upper portion of the black cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (double set screw [Cable Size #2 AWG 4/0], ½-13 x 3/4 long threaded stud or ½-13 x 1-1/8 long threaded stud). 3.11. The upper portion of the red cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (double set screw [Cable Size #2 AWG 4/0], ½-13 x 3/4 long threaded stud or ½-13 x 1-1/8 long threaded stud). 3.12. The upper portion of the blue cam-lok (if necessary) shall be (double set screw [Cable Size #2 AWG 4/0], ½-13 x 3/4 long threaded stud or ½-13 x 1-1/8 long threaded stud). 3.13.
